Looking through photos with my mom for Brooke’s upcoming graduation party and thought this was too cute to not share. We were so cute!
But I don’t WANNA get out of bed.
Is how much I just paid for a dress online. It should be shipped to me within 7-10 days.
I haven’t had that OMG wedding feeling yet with any of the dresses (if that feeling even exists for me). But for $150… Um yeah. The money I’m saving alone might bring a few tears. We shall see!
Ate kind of poopy today and as a result, I’m feeling poopy. My goal is to get a workout in tomorrow and have make healthy choices when it comes to my meals and any snacks. I will resist the treats at work and focus on what is nourishing.
It’s time to get more serious about this. I have the Warrior Dash in less than a month. I have to do better than last year!
Anyway, time for my tired butt to get to bed. ‘Night!
Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing and loving woman in my life who I’m proud to be able to call my mother. Your constant love and selfless giving is appreciated more than you know. I love you, Mom!
It is much too early to be up in my opinion on a Saturday, but the strong brewed coffee should help kick me in the butt to wake up for my shoot today. I’m telling myself that’ll only be a little over three hours of shooting time, and then my weekend will be here!
Last night, Chip and I spent the evening together having dinner at Rooster’s (he was going crazy about how delicious their wings were, but I was good and got a turkey burger and side salad), booking our reception venue(!!!!!!), and buying our wedding bands. We don’t get too much time together during the week, so that much wedding productivity in one night was pretty stellar.
The only bad thing about buying our wedding bands last night? I am now without my engagement ring. [Sadness] They need it to fit a custom shadow wedding band (hopefully that’s the correct lingo). So my finger will be naked for several weeks.
After doing all that, we came back to my parents’ and played Cards Against Humanity with my mom and brother until almost 1AM. The quality time I was able to spend with Chip and my family was well-worth not getting enough sleep. It was definitely something I was willing to sacrifice. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs.
Anyway, it’s time for me to finish up my coffee and get my butt on the road for work. Hope you have a wonderfully happy Saturday.
